Home/Platform/Client Relationship Engine
Proprietary CTD Platform

Manage the relationships you already have.
Better.

The firm's existing universe — clients, former clients, alumni, referrers, peer counsel, in-house lawyers who used to work with you — is a network most firms never systematically track. Our Client Relationship Engine indexes that universe, monitors the public signals that matter to it, and helps the firm stay quietly visible inside the rules.

Built in-house at CTD

Designed inside BCI Rule 36.

The Client Relationship Engine is built around a strict reading of the Bar Council of India rules. It does not source prospects on behalf of advocates. It does not run outreach to strangers. It tracks the firm's existing relationship universe, monitors public market signals the firm chooses to respond to, and routes content to networks the firm already has — all within the permissible-conduct line.

Six modules, one engine

What the engine actually does.

Every module is built around managing existing relationships and observing public market signals — not soliciting new mandates.

1

Client universe mapping

Index every active client, former client, GC-alumnus, and referring counsel. Most firms have this in three places and one partner's memory. We put it in one place.

2

Signal monitoring

Public market signals the firm wants to track: funding announcements at portfolio companies, regulatory triggers, leadership changes in existing client orgs, public-domain news on alumni. Triage feed, not a hit list.

3

Relationship cadence

When was each existing client last in touch with the firm? Which alumnus haven't heard from us in a year? Cadence tracker, not a CRM sales pipeline.

4

Content distribution

When a partner publishes a byline or hosts a panel, the engine routes it to the firm's existing network — clients, alumni, referrers. We do not push content to strangers.

5

Inbound triage

When an enquiry comes in via the firm's site, social, or directory listing, the engine routes it, scores conflict risk, and queues a partner response. Inbound only.

6

Reporting & review

Monthly partner review: relationship health across the universe, signals worth acting on, content shipped, inbound triaged. Discipline, not sales metrics.

What this engine is NOT

Drawn deliberately, before anyone has to ask.

  • Not a cold-outreach tool. We do not source strangers and write to them on behalf of advocates.
  • Not a lead-gen funnel. No "prospect lists", no scraped GC databases, no LinkedIn drip sequences.
  • Not solicitation-as-a-service. We will not breach BCI Rule 36 on behalf of any firm, however large the engagement.
  • Not a black box. Every routing, every content drop, every signal alert is logged and reviewable by the partnership.
What you actually see

Three artefacts you keep, even after engagement.

Artefact 1 / 3

Relationship universe (quarterly refresh)

Every named client, former client, GC alumnus, and referring counsel, organised by relationship depth and last-contact date. Yours to keep, refreshed every quarter.

Signal feed (daily)

Public-domain signals that touch the firm's existing universe. Funding announcements at portfolio companies, regulatory triggers, leadership transitions in existing client orgs. Feed only — partners decide what to act on.

A note on the mock-ups above. Account names, signal types, status fields and report sections on this page are illustrative mock-ups built to show structure, not real client data. CTD Legal is a business consultancy to law firms, CA firms and CS firms — we do not provide legal services, do not solicit work on behalf of advocates, and do not guarantee outcomes. Every engagement is governed by a written scope letter; deliverables and limits are agreed in that document for each firm individually.
BCI Rule 36 + DPDP Act compliant by design

Built inside the rules. Not around them.

Every module of the Client Relationship Engine respects the Bar Council of India's restrictions on advocate advertising and solicitation. We do not approach strangers on behalf of advocates. We do not enable cold outreach. We do not run sales sequences. What we do is help firms keep existing relationships warm, observe public market signals, and route permissible content to networks the firm already has — all under DPDP-aligned data handling, with a written scope letter for every engagement.

Run your relationships as a system

See what your existing universe could look like, indexed.

30-min discovery, then a scoped relationship-universe map drafted on the second call. From there — a real system.
